Story:
Naresh (Allari Naresh) is a drama artiste who is born without the destiny written byLord Brahma. Brahma fails to write his fate by mistake.
Since he has no fate written on his head, there will no end to his life as well. He possesses the powers of Gods.
Since it proves against nature, Narada conspires a plan to make things right. He plans in such a way that Yama's daughter Yamaja (Richa Panai) marries Naresh. From then, how things move between Yama and his son in law Naresh has to be watched on screen.

Box office collection : Baadshah collects 50 crore in 4 days

Hyderabad, Apr 9 (TruthDive): The box office collection of Jr NTR’s Baadshah is 50.18 crore in four days, reports Superwoods. The four days’ collections are overwhelming as the movie has received a grand and spectacular response at domestic as well as overseas market as expected before.

Break up for Baadshah is as follows:
1st Day Collections is 12.30 Crores
2nd Day Collections is 13.68 Crores
3rd Day Collections is 14.05 Crores
4th Day Collections is 11.15 Crores
Total Collections is 50.18 Crores

Baadshah, made on a budget of more than Rs 50 crore, was released on April 5 in more than 100 screens in the country. The movie had a fantastic opening across the globe. Baadshah is still running to packed houses collecting Rs 12.30 crore on the opening day of its release worldwide.

In the domestic market, the positive reviews from film critics and a good word of mouth took the business of Baadshah upwards over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Baadshah has also showed a grand opening, collecting Rs 1.29 crore from 76 locations in the US on its first day of release, beating the opening day collection record of “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu”.

In just three days of release, “Baadshah” has crossed Rs 4.19 crore in US. Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted on Friday, “Although Fri report is being compiled, Telugu film #Baadshah has crossed $ 500,000 [Rs 2.75 cr] within 2 days [Thu-Fri] in USA. FANTASTIC!”

On Saturday Taran tweeted, “Although Sat numbers are still pouring in, Telugu film #Baadshah has crossed $ 765,000 [Rs 4.19 cr] within 3 days [Thu-Sat] in USA. SUPERB!”

With a grand success of “Baadshah”, director Srinu Vaitla has once again proved that he is the Baadshah of commercial films.

Baadshah is a perfect entertainer that has all the ingredients of a commercial film. Along with Jr NTR, actors Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Kelly Dorji, Navdeep, MS Narayana, Brahmanadam, Nassar and Vennela Kishore feature in pivotal roles in the movie.

Plot:
The movie beigns with Bittu (Sonu Sood) planning with the local MLA Varadarajulu (Kota Srinivasa Rao) to rob 1500 crores from the Vizag Co- operative Bank. Ravindra Narayan ( Allu Arjun) is a brainy individual who believes in earning quick money rather than toiling like his father Narayana (Tanikella Bharani) for every month's salary. He gets into a dispute with his father about his attitude and challenges him that he would convert 10,000 into 1 lakh in quick time. He happens to meet Bittu on his way, who drops him at his destination. Ravi inadvertently reveals his plan of making quick money by betting on an IPL match and also the location of betting to Bittu and his companions on the way. However his plans turn upside down when police raid the location and is caught red-handed. During interrogation, Ravi guesstimates that Bittu could have diverted the Police, and that he is about to commit a robbery at the Vizag Cooperative Bank. He convinces Raja Manikyam that Bittu is planning to rob the bank and both go to catch him. Bittu successfully robs the bank and his brother Laala (Shafi) takes the money to the city's dumping yard, as per Bittu's instructions, as the Police follow them. However Police catch Lala, who resists them only to be killed by Ravi. Police try to trace the money but in vain. Meanwhile Bittu gets arrested, but is rescued in transit by his sidekick Devayani (Sheetal Menon). They go to the dumping yard to collect the money but Bittu is shocked as the dumping yard is burnt to ashes. Having his brother dead and the money burnt, Bittu decides to kill Ravi.

Story

Munna (Prabhas) is an orphan who grows up in an orphanage and studies with the help of scholarships. Kakha (Prakash Raj) is the mafia don in the city. Munna's fight with Kakha's son in the college leads to confrontation between Munna and Kakha. Munna becomes 'Mr. dependable' to the locals and starts building his empire to help people whereas Kakha tries to eliminate him. The rest of the story is all about how Munna defeats Kakha.

Prabhas is one among the young heroes who had a very good physique. Leave alone others working hard and doing lots of exercises to get a six-pack body, Prabhas had the body right from the beginning of his career. It really turned helpful for him this time as everyone is craving for such body. Though Prabhas gave a blockbuster like 'Chatrapati', none of the directors could help him reach the audiences expectations. After running a rough patch for the past three films ('Pournami', 'Yogi' and 'Munna'), Prabhas was able to break the jinx with the perfect characterisation by director Puri Jagannath, who already had hat-trick hits to his credit. Moreover, the film came from a prestigious banner like Creative Commercials which brought out several blockbusters with top stars like Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna. Moreover, the film had Mohanbabu playing a key role and his performance is yet another highlight of the movie. Bujjigadu (Prabhas) stays in Chennai. He is an ardent fan of Rajanikanth. He used to celebrate the release of his favourite hero's films like any other fan. However, he had a strong wish to meet his childhood friend Chitti (Trisha), with whom he gets separated some 12 years ago. In order to meet her, Bujji decides to visit Visakhapatnam. However, Chitti and her family shifts to Hyderabad and Bujji doesn't know that.

Bujjigadu reaches Hyderabad and attacks Sivanna, but gets caught and thrashed by the latter's gang. But, realising his guts to attack a powerful mafia don like him, Sivanna persuades Bujji to stay with him and takes him to his home. After a few scenes, Bujji realises that Chitti was Sivanna's sister. The story takes a new twist from this point. Whether Bujji makes another attempt to kill Sivanna as per the contract of Machi Reddy? Did Chitti realise that Bujji is none other than her childhood friend? Who won the rival battle between Sivanna and Machi Reddy? What was the role of Sanjana? Answers to all these questions form part of the remaining movie.

While on his way to Vizag, Bujji involves in a clash and gets arrested by the police. Being a rough guy, he catches the attention of Machi Reddy (Kota Srinivasa Rao). In fact, Sivanna (Mohanbabu) runs a mafia gang in Hyderabad and Machi Reddy was his rival. To settle scores, Machi Reddy decides to utilise Bujjigadu to eliminate Sivanna and accepts to pay Rs 1 crore for the job. Prabhas made a brilliant screen presence in this film. The director needs to be patted for the excellent characterisation of the hero. Prabhas improved his body language a lot and gave a stylish performance in action scenes. There is fight in a poultry farm in the beginning of the film where Prabhas gets a new look. The director scripted fantastic dialogues and Prabhas maintained good spontaneity in delivering them. Especially, he delivered a few dialogues in Tamil with perfect ease as a Tamilian. It was the director who really captured the talent of Prabhas right from the beginning till the end.

Sanjana, played the sister of Trisha, and has not much role to play.

Trisha also appeared in a new look and she filled the glamour slot well. Mohanbabu also played a very nice character in the film, though it really did not match his image perfectly. His mannerism 'Silly Fellow' is very catchy. He needs compliments for accepting such role in the movie. Other artistes like Kota Srinivasa Rao, Subba Raju and others are adequate. The major lapse in this film is that the director did not give much scope for a good comedy and there is not much comic relief in the movie. Speaking technically, it was a director's film in many ways. The storyline is wafer thin and the director depended mostly on the screenplay to run the subject.
